The high-school team in my area lost 68-6 on Friday.

My God, they are awful. They are installing a spread offense this year but they don't have the players, and they definitely don't have the QB, unless your entire playbook consists of RB flair passes.

<< <i>i hope you are a high school student but i have a feeling you are not....please refrain from criticizing a 17yr old kid playing qb in highschool- who probably plays more than you did at the same age. Its one thing to be critical of Brett Favre, Mike Vick, or even Chris Leak (who I am a fan of btw- GO GATORS) but to criticize a highschooler- get a life!! >>
1. I'm not 17.
2. You don't have a clue what position I played, much less how much.
3. It's ok to criticize a 20-yr old college player but not a 17-yr old high school player? That's a little hypocritical, don't you think?
4. We don't need more forum police.
needs a 2 game tune up before he plays his first big game, and even that isn't that great!

You do know that Miami is a conference game, right? Great way to follow that one up with Troy and Rice though. Ole' Bobby doesn't duck anybody.
You scored 7 on us. Think you can top that tonight?
have always played them and still have more rings. Gators have no balls.

You really should get your facts straight. Both Miami and F$U were invited to join the SEC. Both declined. F$U joined the ACC and Miami ran to the Big East.
Once the SEC expanded to 12 teams UF was left with three non conference games. F$U is one of them, so that leaves two. Because F$U is a home-and-home, we UF dropped Miami, which was not even an annual rival anyway, to schedule two creampuffs in the Swamp for revenue. Everybody major college program does it, just check last Saturday's schedule.
But I'm sure an educated fan such as yourself already knew that.
<< <i>Didn't FSWHO almost get beat by a HS team last year? >>
Yep. It was 1-AA Citadel, and they were winning by 3 at the half. They ended up scoring like 60+ points if I remember correctly.
Does anybody think F$U can muster 17 points against Miami tonight?

Sure, but UM will score 24.
Go Canes!!!
<< <i>My school used to loose 55-6 or worse sometimes to dobyns-bennett in Tennessee. There the all-time winnest hs football program in the nation. By the way your Gators need to watch out in Neyland!! gonna be tight. I think Tennessee is gonna have the spread. >>
I'm glad Tenn looks better, but I think Cal did their part to make Tenn look good by the way they played, especially their tackling.
Either way, it should be a really good game.
Spurrier this year? Doubt it

Spurrier this year? Doubt it

Don't let a little thing called facts get in the way, JS.
