creative scanning on ebay - 55 don hutson rc

I looked at a 55T all american don hutson rookie on ebay and it looked short. Nice corners, nice looking card, but trimmed. I darkened the pic from ebay so you could see the corners/edges.
Emailed the seller, asked to see the rest of the card, he said it was nice. Asked for a scan and said it looked short. He added this pic.
Something really wrong with that.
