The secret to getting a BVG 9.5

The description to this auction says:

<< <i>THIS CARD COULD CONCEIVABLY RECEIVE A SCORE OF BVG 9.5 IF SENT IN WITH THE RIGHT SIZE ORDER... >>

I sent the seller a question asking what size order that would be. I'll keep you all posted.

  • Yeah, and he says the only problem with this one is that it's "slightly" off center.

Bet the Brown, along with the raw Ripken for sale have both been submitted with negative results. Then again who knows?

    Here's the seller's answer:

<< <i>THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES, BUT MY DISCUSSIONS WITH MAJOR DEALERS HAS LED ME TO BELIEVE THAT AN ORDER OF NO FEWER THAN 50-75 CARDS LEADS TO THE STRONGEST GRADES.......HOWEVER, IT WILL STILL BE SUBJECTIVE. THE REALITY IS THAT THERE HAS BEEN PROVEN RESEARCH SUPPORTING THE THEORY THAT WITH MORE REVENUE, THE GRADERS AT BGS AND BVG ARE MORE GENEROUS >>

Guess you can't argue with proven research.
  • lol, tell me which "major dealers" send in anywheres near 50-75 cards per submission. Sounds like he's been talking to some people from this board.
