Lions cut Charles Rogers today

He was expecting it according to the local paper. One of the biggest second pick in the draft busts. Injury, drug problems and a poor
work ethic when he was healthy was his downfall. No doubt some team will pick him up and give him another chance.

Its about time they rid themselves of that bust of a draft pick.
  • He'll get another shot somewheres, he's only 25. I honestly think that the Lions will keep Mike Williams, if they don't I think it'll backfire on em.
    Collecting;
    Mark Mulder rookies
    Chipper Jones rookies
    Orlando Cabrera rookies
    Lawrence Taylor
    Sam Huff
    Lavar Arrington
    NY Giants

    NJ Devils
1950s-1960s Topps NY Giants Team cards

Looking for Topps rookies as well.

I think they already decided to keep him as their 3rd wideout. The jury is still out on him as far as Im concerned.

He's going to go down as an even bigger bust than another former second overall pick... Tony Mandarich. Both former Michigan State Spartans. Coincidence? I think not...

Desmond was a SB MVP... Whether his career was lackluster or not, only a chosen few can say they have been the SB MVP. Don't go there or I'll have to bring up the whole Powlus thing image And BTW, they weren't top 5 picks anywho as I recall

Mandarich was heavy into steroids, the MSU coaching staff just pretended not to notice it and their
testing program was a joke. According to one former player Mandarich had his own steroid lab
set up in his off campus apt. and invited other players to shoot up.
