Does anyone know if PCGS has ever slabed one of these before?????

I've sent them a few & they NEVER did slab them w/the variety noted on the holder (even though submitted under "mint error" service). Perhaps now that there's NO DOUBT that it is in fact a Cherrypicker variety (i.e. FS-01-1956D-511) - as noted in the 4th edition, volume 2, appendix K (entitled "Fivaz/Stanton Number Cross-Reference Chart), pg. 433, top of 2nd column, they'll FINALLY relent

Of course this "new" CPG/FS# has been known for over a year or so now & NGC had already jumped on the bandwagon by slabbing them "that way" almost immediately.

Not to mention, ANACS has been slabbing them near forever.

Do you know if they slabbed it in a mint error holder OR in a NEW FS holder? You can tell by the PCGS No. given.

I am not sure ??? The cert# is 10152367.

Yeah, it it's still inbound to you from Newport Beach, you won't be able to tell until you see it. The cert # doesn't give you the PCGS No. info.

It appears to be properly attributed (LINK) but no way to know via the cert # if in a mint error holder or one of the new FS#'d holders.

Oh well, you'll know next week. Let me/us know. I'm starting to keep a data base of the new FS#'s until PCGS finally gets around to releasing the info.

& if anyone plugs in "144364" into the pop report, they'll see that this is the FIRST one slabbed (of this variety) with the new FS numbering system.

Whats the new numbering system? I have a few Cherry picker Lincolns slabbed as "Mint Errors". Will they now show up in the pop report if resubmitted?

They haven't actually released the new numbering system yet but it appears that for whatever reason they've started using it in some cases.

The ones you have in mint error holders will, of course, have to be resubmitted under reholder service when the new system goes live if you want to enter the coins in whatever registry set that they will have for these things (if ever - but I expect soon).
