How does $26,100,000 in sales rack up against other large companies for a single 24 hr period?
$9,526,000,000 annualized. Some kind of record for a 24 hr period???

ExxonMobil made more than $9.526 billion in PROFIT last quarter. Not sales.

True, but I suspect a lot of these sales were to speculators and not true numismatists.
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
What is the total value of coins sold at the recent Heritage auction?
<< <i>$26M is nothing. I'm sure they won't jump forward but I'm sure there are individual board memebers whose collection is much more valuable than that. So if one of them liquidated their collection tomorrow would that impact the overall market?

Actually, I don't think there's "a" coin market in this context.
Collectors of modest means who are trying to keep up with all the Mint's offerings are likely tapped out for other coins in their price range (for these purposes, say a couple hundred to a couple thousand bucks).
For the type of person who has a $26M collection, this is probably not even a speed bump, let alone a barricade. So I wouldn't think this affects the market much on the high end...but lower in the numismatic food chain, I think it can have an effect.
