    If you mean $1 face value of 90% silver coin, that is around $8.60.

    $1 worth of silver is going for $1, as the other smart @$$es pointed out.

    One dollar face is a little more than 3/4 an ounce of silver. At $12.80 an ounce, a dollar in face value silver coins would be a little less than $10 in melt value.
