It's tough to grade from a scan, so don't put too much stock in the opinions you get here Zef...

This is in a holder already, right? So, I will go out on a limb and say it looks like an 8.

I gotchya. I know it is tough off the scan. This one is in a slab, as was the Herrmann is in a slab.

I just find it odd when guys knock cards that aren't slabbed that have the borderline centering.

Its got a little ah above the A.
The right big E has an ah inside bottom.

The black right line is a PD that would not be called.

I blew it way up and the corners are not perfect.

The card could be a nine.

I'd go 8 or 9, unless some hard ass sees snow and deems it a 7
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

From the scan, I would guess PSA 9. Centering for a PSA 9 only has to be 65/35 or better.

    Zef:

According to another recent thread, NASA is apparently grading cards. Perhapps they could put it in their Argon-matrix-spectro-analyzer-centrifuge apparatus to arrive at a grade.

Seriously though, I am not familiar with that line of cards but maybe an 8. I think it only appers OC because the right edge is hiding underneath the holder guide.

Definitely something on the card we can't see. Next time Zef, give us something where nothing on the front or the back would influence the grade without us seeing it close up. chaz

Zef- still can't see corner wear unless it's close up...be fair. Next time, how about a close up shot of each corner....devil is in the details (corner). chaz

That's all I'm saying. You are certain about that Joe Delaxxxxxx card being a 6 without seeing the corners.

One cannot accurately grade a card based on a scan.

hard to see the corners, but 8 seems possible unless the surface has abnormal wear. If there is any type of surface crease, it is a 5.
