Wow. Don't apply for a job at PSA. I'd hate for you to grade the cards I send in.

The card still has a bit of the vending curve, so the corners aren't coming up on scan as good as they look in person. Top right is touched, the other 3 are pretty strong. I basically am wondering if the centering would qualify for an 8. The card in person and under loupe looks like a sure-fire 8 unless the centering keeps it from that.

BTW, chaz- Please send me the cards in your collection that you think are 6's. I'll pay well. image

I think centering is in line with an 8 but I would guess it's a 7.

Zef, testing our "knowledge" against those that get paid to do it? I'll say an 8 for the Herrman for the weaker rightside corners, the diamondcut and the o/c. Lemme know.

    Herrmann....8....
    1st card...7...simply because it's a little OC..in both directions...one or the other...not usually both.

If you think Chaz's 6's are good...you should see my slag pile!! My throwbacks at the shows look better than most dealers cases!!

Believe me brother, I know what I am talking about . That upper left corner is brutal regardless of the bend and PSA would nail you on it. chaz

8 on the Delamilleure. 8 or 9 on the Herrmann, depending on the centering on the back.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Joe D id definitely O/C and the Herrmann should be graded by a jewler, it's a diamond.image
