it dont exist in the coin game
I have had coins sent to me by people I dont know, have never met in person, except that we met on the boards here. They have trusted me to be careful with their coins, and either purchase them or send them home, no questions asked.
I have also sent coins to board members, same deal, no cash till satisfied, I have had many opportunities to be burned--the last coin I sent was valued at over $1000, the one before that was $1500., the one tomorrow is $800. To me, thats pretty big money, and if those coins had disappeared or been damaged, it might have crippled my hobby pursuit for a good long while. i have yet to be disappointed by a board member.
I have a lot of faith in the board members here, I belive that ethics is a major trait held by quite a few members. The bad will out, sometimes it takes a while, but the good is what keeps this forum alive and kicking.
Common sense says check references, check history, ask your other friends about any experiences they may have had with a member. Thats not a lack of trust, its a way to make sure the one bad egg doesnt sneak up on you.
Do you agree with all of them?? I don't.
Does violating one of them make you a bad person?? I don't think so.
