A very nice haul for the day.

The 1892-O sounds like a difficult find much less cherry pick from a photo.

Did you know from the photo or did you get lucky on an educated guess.?

Not hard. Look above the 92 in the date at the bottom of the hair. The bottom of a misplaced 9 is evident there. You have to log in to see the image.

I had been looking for that and the 13B for quite a while too.

Created a wiki page for the 1889-O VAM-13B, as it is a pretty interesting coin.

I see it. With Heritage's super big pics you can see alot.

The stars on the 1889 o are cool as well.

I learn something new here on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing.

I think the 92-O VAM-12 is the neatest MPD that nobody seems to know about. Haven't seen an uncirculated one. In fact, this is the first one I have found.

    John,
The 1889-O Crumbled Stars sounds cool. I'll have to research it. I've never seen one.

Great group of vams, especially that 1892-O.

Unusual for Leroy to give a vam for die fatigue. Is the NGC 65 not the hoped for doubled ear?

Yeah, I was pessimistic on it but hoped it might be an upgrade candidate. From my thread on it, it looks like consensus is that it won't make 66. Probably will return it.

The 13B isn't just simple die fatigue. The obverse die was literally falling apart with the stars, legend and bust device chipping away like mad.
