Knife collecting is a pretty sharp hobby.

After so much stress of late, I thought a little humor might help. Hope I didn't offend anyone.

Knife collecting is one of my other hobbies. Kershaw is one of the best brands and I've been admiring that knife you posted. It comes in lots of other colors and the only one I've ever seen on sale was the rainbow. I passed...image

Its actually one of my 2 other hobbies (the other being antique fishing reels... ok laugh now).

I have a rainbow leek that I have carried daily for 3+ years and I don't know how they color them but it looks just as good today as when I bought it. The finish is unbelievably strong.

At the risk of taking this OT conversation too far, I think I'll pick one up. I was afraid the finish would be fragile. Thanks, JErry

    antique fishing reels

Antique fishing stuff is cool. Some of the old hand made lures are fantastic pieces of 'functional art'. I'd like to have some of the old bamboo fly rods too to hang on my lodge wall.

I have an idea. Start an encapsulation business for knives! Maybe you can buy some older equipment from PCGS.

Hmmm - What would the grading scale be???? image
