Probably right away. Russ always seems to preach a gentle rinse in acetone before sending PROOFs in to avoid milkspots. I wonder if that works on ASEs?

I'm wondering how nice that reverse PROOF is going to look? Also, since it's a completely different process from regular PROOFs, the dies' must be brand new, I don't know if the hub will be new as well, but at least the coins should have a nice looking surface. As opposed to the unc coins that have had some sort of weird spot on the sun for about 5 years, it just seems to mutate from year to year. I wonder if that will be cleared up on the uncs in this set?

Just curious why everyone blames the slabs for milk spots. They will happen in the original mint capsule as well due to the rinse the mint uses. All it takes is exposure to the right air.

Using acetone should prevent the spots from forming but I have not tested it.

BTW I have a complete set of Proof Silver Eagles in PCGS holders and none of them have spots.
