    Sweet, nice job!!!
  • Brian,

Nice grades. It looks like those 68-s ms67s are mutiplying. I believe that LincolnsRule found a few also. The pops have gone from 23 to 32 in the last few months correct?

Still a great find no doubt!

yep Lincolns made a few as well. Including these 4 I made 5. Lincoln's Rule and I are tapped out though. I have had this hoard for a few years now and finally sent them in. i don't expect the pops to change again any time soon, at least as dramatically as they have in the last month.

I agree, I do not see the pops going much past what they are now for a little while at least. I am hoping to save up enough to purchase one of these in a few months. One of those would go great in my Lincoln set.image

Just for fun I bought a gold buffalo and submitted it under the free quarterly special. It also came back a PR70DCAM. Welcome to the club.

You got freaking lucky, 1 coin and a 70. With friends and family I've seen 35 buffalo's, sent in the best 4 and got 69's.

    So I'm 0 for 35

Your 1 for 1. I must be doing something wrong, unless your sending them to NGC.

I'm assuming PCGS cause PR is PCGS and PF is NGC.

Great success rate on the buffalos, or did you look through a lot and submit the 5 best?

I cherry picked. The funny thing was I knew one coin was a lock 70 and IMO, was superior to all the rest. I suppose this should have been a 71DCAM image. The detail was tremendous on the face. At arms length clearly the best coin. There was however another coin that, although it did not have the detail of the best one had the most full strike. The rims were full on both sides, this was actually something, although too hard find (I found one), that not all coins had. I did wonder, with four 9 gold being so soft, why would there not be equal detail on all the coins and why they would not all be 100% struck. I know which two coins got the grade and why.
