That was as a buyer ..... I couldn't try to figure out my first shot at selling. T'was a long time ago..........
  • My first auction didn't sell image even for 99 cents image

I was pretty happy with my first sell, though. A Talento TIPP 2UD credit card machine for $50.99 image Considering I purchased it at a yard sale for $1

Overall, I think 95% of all my auctions brought current value or higher, so I'm really happy about that!

You sold your Atari!!!??? If any carts such as Pitfall II, River Raid, Maze Craze or Cosmic Ark were in there I would be even more outraged! image

Bought an 1847 large cent from a person in Canada. I was unsure of what to expect and figured the worst but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a VF 7 over small 7 variety, and the kind gentleman also included a Canadian dollar as well. Guess I got pretty lucky starting out, considering things could have turned out.

My first as a seller was back in 1999. Did okay by 1999 eBay standards, which meant no pictures. It wasn't a coin, I'm pretty sure, but I don't remember what.

Well, it stayed at 179.50, delivered. How'd you do overall? 12 bids is pretty good for a first lot on eBay.

Surprisingly well, considering I had no picture of the coin I was selling, and only a lengthy description. I didn't even have a scanner or know how to upload pictures then. It was 1999. Both eBay and I have come a long way since.

Could have been better, I'm surprised the coin went so cheap.
