1986 Fleer bkb question...

Has anyone bought or sold these raw? I have minor and semi stars in legit NM/MT to MINT that I am looking to sell. But I really don't feel like having them graded because if the grader deems its an 8 today, I won't even recoup the grading fees.

Do the sell well raw? Any experiences are appreciated.

    it's a crapshoot at best!!

People want close to a complete set as possible...ie a set without a Jordan..or a few other stars.

As for selling them singularly...they don't sell for much...and you have to figure your time and energy...plus listing costs.

So, in order to move them..you'll probably have to lot them out.

The problem with that is...most people won't pay alot do to the condition sensitivity of the set. Even if you list them as NM-MT..people will pay less than they are worth because as the internet goes...9X out of 10...you get less than what was described.

Now, I actually do well with them at shows..live and in person..as people can judge for themselves the condition..

There are so many 86's graded right now, I wouldn't send anything that doesn't have a shot at a 10..even the 9's can be had on the cheap these days!!

other than the stars you can figure about $1 each for the singles.

    Thanks,

    40 31473335 1986 fleer 130 ORLANDO WOOLRIDGE N/A 8

I just was hoping for some 10's on these and didn't get any. I owned the cards, but the submission costs killed the amount I made on the 40 above. Some of these are so pristine that I was shocked there wasn't a 10, but I didn't feel like playing the resubmit game. So I decided not to send in the rest of the set.

<< <i>u have some raw singles as well? >>

That is what I listed. Sorry for the confusion. These were graded and sold months ago. I was holding onto the rest of the set debating on what to do. Since I am not collecting it I didn't think grading and praying for appropriate grades was the right move. So I list all the raw singles that were left. I think there were 88 of them.
