The mystery blobs could be similar in nature to the one on the 1921 VAM 3o. It was clashed through a piece of debris. There is a raised spot in front of Liberty's nose and another raised spot on the referse inside the left wreath directly opposite it. Any sign of this possibility?

I don't see anything. I looked at the obverse areas that are opposite the raised dots. Unfortunately they align in the devices and not in the flat fields. I checked with no rotation of the dies, and I also used the partial clashed G to align the dies. I see nothing.
The clashed G was found earlier this year for the VAM 35. Leroy mentioned it's been polished away on the 35A. Maybe something used in the polishing process caused the raised dots?
