Would you buy a coin you absolutely have to have from a dealer or person you completely despise?

Absolutely not. Been there done that. An individual brokered a deal for me and then stole a coin from me presumably over unspoken dissatisfaction about the terms of brokering the deal. I won't even acknowledge this creep now.

Great thread. Personally, I avoid certain dealers. But if it came to my attention that they had a coin I wanted at a price I was willing to pay, I'd probably bite my lip and buy the coin from him unless I thought the coin might be stolen or if I believed the dealer might not deliver the coin. image
Actually i did not buy a coin from a dealer i did not like some time ago simply for the reason that i did not like the dealer-i haven't found a similiar one since----next time i know better-but i will not make it a habit. Bob

  • No. I won't do business with someone I despise. But this is a purely personal decision based on what I'm comfortable doing. I can see where others might choose differently.
