Stolen coins alert

Something I saw on RCC, passing the info along:


I am the owner and sole proprietor of Quadriga Ancients, based out of
St. Johnsbury, Vermont (visit http://www.quadrigaancients.com to view
my site) and my home was burglarized of virtually all my stock and then
some (including my wife's jewelry) while we were away on vacation
recently. We have reason to believe that the perpetrators live
locally, and that they may try to fence the ancients in the
VT/Mass/NH/upstate NY area.


Among the stolen coins are virtually all the unsold coins in my current
main catalogue, bargain specials catalogue, and Judaean catalogue. I
will email a more complete list on request; please contact me at:
trolhaus (at) vtlink (dot) net to request the list (MS Word format;
email address written that way to foil spambots).


The Vermont State Police are currently investigating the matter, but
I'm also contacting area dealers with more specifics. Thanks in
advance for any help you may be able to give me, including passing this
along to other dealers who are not on this group..

I just talked with Kevin.

All of the coins listed on his web site that are not displayed as "Sold" were stolen. Basically his whole inventory.

There are images of most of the coins on the web site, so if anyone sees any ancients come in, please take a look at his web site to see if any are his.

Already reported to a Dealers only list for ancient coins. Many are in the Northeast, so hopefully someone will find them.
