Coins??? Ever acheived a goal where you venture into a new area currency or stamps??

I am at a point I have most of what I want so decided to get into currency. Especially after the last show, currency prices were throught the roofs. Yes I will still actively cherry pick coins, but currency offers many plate, block, sig. etc. varieties,, lets hearyour thoughts!!

    Paper?!?

But seriously, collect what is of interest to you. image Currency, especially early green backs is very pretty. And I know I would love an example of that 10 dollar bill with a Bison on it. image

Not currency or stamps - but I have been dabbling in ancients (mostly Roman).
I won't stop building my US collection, but it is an interesting whole new (very OLD) world.

I've completed my U.S. Type Set, Barber Dime, Barber Half, and Walking Liberty Half Dansco albums, and have upgraded most to the point where future upgrades will be slow, given my coin budget and my taste for original coins. I collected U.S. stamps years ago, and now wish I had used many of my plate blocks for postage years ago, before they lost value to inflation.

I am now collecting obsolete hard drives. At the rate I'm going, I'll have a 300-page book published in five years, but the hobby will still be considered weird then.

I think it is a lot easier to get the coins in a safe deposit box than it would be to put all the keyboards!

I dabble in stamps in times like this, where we are in a temporarily tight cash flow situation which prevents me from buying coins. But for the most part I stick to coins, and when we get this albatross of a house sold I'll be buying coins again.
