Okay, I am going nuts buying a bunch of cards for my registry

I gave myself a gift of $500.00 to add a bunch of cards. I dont have tell you guys that it sure is fun having some fundage In my buying, I have accumulated a stack of cards not listed or would not go in because of spec number issues. I have 16 cards waiting to go in so I thought of a question;

Do you guys buy cards for your sets knowing you have to wait for them to be entered? Or do you just but the cards listed for your sets?

I am buying the cards for my set whether they are listed or not. I figure if its a nice card of my favorite player then why not buy it.

Personally, I buy and grade all the Dan Marino cards I can and if they're not part of the basic or master set, then I request them to be added (which does take quite a while...).

I do the same as Greg but insert Favre instead of Marino.

The only reason I look up whether a card is listed is if I'm trying to figure out the pop numbers on it.
