58? I've got to learn to grade better These must be spectacular in MS!

Seems like the design got "mushy" after the first few years. I really like the look of this '48.

Come to think of it is the true for many series? Early Lincolns, Washingtons, Jeffersons really have a much better look to me too.

I have seen MS grade coin with more marks on them. So without the coin in hand it would be hard to tell. But some of my MS64FBL's look a lot like this one.


And just for comparsion this one is mine.

First off I like the look of this coin.
If I just saw the reverse- I would call it an AU based on the toning breaks. It has the look of a coin that has been handled a bit. More handling than a MS coin would have. Those bell lines are hammered though.
