So I have an extra $570 today after a refund for an 1822 dime.

What should I buy?
Oh, I was at our local Annual FOP fishing derby which I organize so I gave my wife 70.00 to run into town and cash it for me.....so I have 500.00 back.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

<< <i>GLAD to read that you resolved your problem with the scratched(?)1822 dime. I'm sure that you handled the resolution with patience and dignified perseverance, unlike some cowbell clangers around here who need to wave their dirty battle flag laundry in public

You obviously didn't catch the reference, but I'm sure Goose can have a chuckle over that one anyway. New? I hardly think so.
