    MS64 with the 1 point CC bump=MS65
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    pbfloyd...ya got robbed. I think your's belongs in a 64 holder.

steve27...your coin looks like a strong 64...could just as easily get into a 65 ( based on what I've seen lately )

My coin is a 64, and while I think it's undergraded, I can see why it's a point better than pbfloyd's coin:

I think the lighting and images have something to do with the differences of opinions. Both coins are nice and have different strengths and weaknesses.

Steve- I think yours is a 64 and a nice example to illustrate the high end for the 64 grade, especially for a CC

floyd's coin is harder to grade from the image because of the lighting. It looks that the fields look semi PL and hits in the field would be magnified and stand out more... for a CC, the coin has above average fields and of the two, I would tend to say it is the example that may be undergraded and could make 64. I would rather see the coin in hand first though because of the lighting... I am not copping out... just trying to provide an honest and accurate assessment.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • I dont want to down steves coin....but they are both 64's imo
