I just got the new Goldberg catalog today (and a complaint about the mailman)

I just got the new Goldberg catalog. It is telephone book size, and I did not have any time to take a detailed look through it. The pictures look decent, but is it me, or do the pics have a wierd green tint to them? Also, the catalog came in one of those USPS flat rate boxes. The box didn't fit in the mailbox, so the mailman brought it to the door. For some reason, he left the rest of the mail in the mailbox. Does this make any sense? If he is making the long walk up the driveway, why not bring all of the mail (or maybe he is miffed at me for getting all of these big catalogs, and he wanted me to walk down to get the rest of the mail)?

It has cool world coins in it. Almost enough to get me interested in the darkside.

I didn't spend enough time on it. I flipped through it quickly, didn't see anything of interest and it hit the can.

I noticed the green too Longacre. He also left the big flat rate box at my doorstep...WITH my other mail.

I got the flat-rate box with the thick catalog of American stuff and two copies of the paper money catalog. Plus I also got a third copy of the paper money catalog in a separate priority mail envelope, and a copy of the foreign catalog in yet another separate priority mail envelope -- all received the same day. I guess the Goldbergs had problems in their shipping department and realized it in time to fix some but not all.

It must cost them an absolute fortune to produce and mail those catalogs...
