    Some incredible hammered silver.

There are some very nice 1/2ds in there, all way under estimated as usual.

Good question Stork... and while I have not completed a thorough review of the entire catalog, it seems that an argument can be made that some coins may be estimated low and others not as low as one might think. In connection with the British coins, I think it varies by Monarch.

As far as estimates go, they are about as good or bad as anybody else. With the Terner sale coins often went for well above their estimate, but it turned out that many went unsold; this was true of Cheshire as well so I think that some care must be taken in bidding.

Is it highly weird that one of the lots I'm interested in already has a price realized, and no 'bid on this lot' box? Is it a glitch and a leftover from the last auction? I hope not...

I received only the World Coins catalogue and as noted above the British stuff is excellent.

As to the estimates being out of line I can't speak to the world stuff well enough but I did look at the online listings for the US material. I collect classic commems and those estimates are not in line with the current market.
