Oh MoneyCollector, please tell me a story about this 97-S that looks so tantilizingly close to XF. Will you send it in to get graded? Beautiful look to the coin.

Dang I was going to post my Barber quarter, but after seeing that 1892 I would be too embarrassed. That is a spectacular coin.
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?
  • CGC,

Got it on the Bay. He had a BIN of $550 and I had to talk myself into it for 2 days but I finally realized that when you see what you like you gotta buy! I will send it in - I have a stack that keeps building. I decided that I enjoy making them myself rather than buying since everything PCGS Barber Half is going for 2x!

Keeping my eyes open for your 45's but I looked at the pops and I think you're going to have to "roll your own" on some of them!

    Randy
  • Nice coins boys........Randy, I'm interested in what grade you'll receive from PCGS. I have a couple of VF/XF raw Barber halves that also need to be graded. When you have $400 - $500 invested in a raw coin (my max on a raw coin purchase), it can get a little nerve racking when it comes time to submit them to a TPG service.......best of luck!
