NGC Top Pop Eliasberg VAM

I was wondering when this would come up. Saw it was the overdate in the Eliasberg sale, but the Top-100 wasn't the rage yet and I wasn't going up against the $10K winning bid (10% commission too at the time). This mark up is pretty healthy for such a coin and not bad considering being out of the money for 9 years possibly. After grading fees, looks like only about 3.5% annual appreciation. Not the strongest investment.

I am not the seller nor have financial interest in the coin. However, this might be of interest to some VAM guys in here. For now, I am happy with my pair of MS63 of the variety. Could find better things to spend $15K on right now.

    That's an easy coin to find in MS63-65... and the toning on this 67 isn't attractive IMO.
    When in doubt, don't.

    I had the first Eliasberg Peace $ VAM in a PCGS slab... not much premium in it... I think you'll see it for sale for some time...
