I bought this beauty at the Heritage sale. It arrived yesterday and I can't stop admiring this gem. Here are Nikon Coolpix 995 pics taken on a nice sunny day with a diffuser dome. This is how gem silver coins with natural toning look in natural sunlight!

Would anyone argue with me that this IS NOT the finest 1839-O small O extant. How about you Laura? You've seen your share of high end dimes.

I've come to really like the Seated Dime series since aquiring my '39 and '75. I've been thinking about it becoming my next series to work on.

Randy...your 1839 is a superb gem. I love it! Give the seated dime series some serious consideration. I can't believe the prices for high end moderns, rather be buying lovely seated dime with history behind them.
