Who is / was Jay Eisenberg?

This guy must have had a pretty decent Mercury Dime Registry Set at one time or another but I can't find much on him...
I have a beautiful 36D MS67FB with his name on the slab. When I Googled him, I found that in 2003, a 24S in 65FB sold at Heritage for $18000.00 + with his name on the slab. At that time, it was 185% of the CDN (Coin Dealer Newsletter) commonly referred to as the "Graysheet".

Did he have a name like Joshua, Stokely, or Dominick,...

Worth mentioning in my Registry Set?

Thanks,
Robert

  • Didn't he coin the uncertainty principle: "You can know the condition or a coin, or its price, but never both?"image

The Jay Eisenberg set was sold at the 2003 February Long Beach show. It was sold by Heritage in their sale number 314. Here is a link if it works.

    Link right here.

I had the 35-D in 65FB out of that set, but sold it with my complete set in 2004. Wish I had it back!
