Yes! It is the goal AT'ers try to reach. There are some really nice Battle Creek and Continental toned dollars out there among the uglies. I don't believe the premiums will hold up for any of them for long though, but ones like this will do fine in the end as long as they don't turn.

Tom, no problem whatsoever, and that's a perfectly sound and quality question. I have equal respect and confidence in NGC as I do with PCGS, I just really prefer to view coins in the PCGS holder with the clear surroundings, especially when viewing them under a light source and loop. The glare, for me anyway, is reduced dramatically, and therefore much more pleasing to the eye.

There should never be a doubt as to what an MS64 is.
and if it's a liner or a slider... then give it the decimal points. If it needs a pedigree, so what.
I thought the idea is to have the proper grade, designation and attribution if it was to be encapsulated.... but somehow these graders rarely can see eye to eye. It's a fun game isn't it ?

I think you need to 'brush up' on your knowledge on what it takes to be a 64. This coin, with it's incredible color and lustrous "POP", is a borderline 65 and at least three of the most respected dealers share the same opinion.

I like it.

Don't think that I have seen many Battle Creek Morgans crossed to PCGS.

I have a few of them stuck back but haven't thought of trying to cross them. Until now that is. Maybe.

From that picture, I would say that the coin is closer to being 63/64 than 64/65. There are just way to many hits on the cheek and elsewhere.

I'm not sure what some look for in a 64, and this is a no-brainer 64. Now, if it were in a 67 holder, then maybe we would have issues.

Drink all the Kool-Aid you need 'til your thirst is quenched. Now on to this coin..To call this coin AT from the image is simple speculation. To call this coin AT if seen in-hand, is simple ignorance. And since I doubt many have seen it in-hand, I'll be glad to give the benefit of the doubt.

What's refreshing Greg is an articulated post. The reverse is beautiful. Semi-proof mirrors and very slight gold rim toning.
