Hello,

what do you guys think, do you think either of these coins would cross over to PCGS as MS65?

it looks like the hair over the ear is mushed.

i just got a PCGS MS65 1923 peace in today and was thinking of picking up another one in the set soon. i would like to get a complete set of MS65 (or less in the spendier years, LOL).

Very hard to tell from the small pics, but the first one has the best shot.

yeah i think the first looks the best of the two. i did email the guy for better pics. if that mark really is on the coin, i don't like it. my eyes go right to it.

For ANY peace dollar the entire face and neck need to be 98-100% hit free... there can be luster breaks... but no marks, abrasions whatsoever... they dont care what the other parts of the coin look like.... I can show you coins that look 66 in 64 holders and have just a few ticks on the face....
