*according to my cable guide... There's a National Geographic Special on tonight at 8PM (central time) on PBS, titled "CIVIL WAR GOLD." If I remember correctly, it's in regard to the search for Gold & Silver coins from the SS Republic ... if anyone's interested.

    I watched it on Tuesday night. They do discuss gold coinage, but the show also discusses other historical issues as well. It's great.
