Franklin Toned FBLs . ...PCGS or NGC ?

I remember reading a post about where to it was better to submit toned or white coins to NGC or PCGS .. Any advice on toned Franklin .50s ? Over the past 15 years , I collected about 20 coins Franklins FBL and placed in a drawer ..

I was in fact just duscussing this via PM with another forum member the other day, and that is the conclusion I came to.
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.

PCGS looks at the bottom set, NGC looks at both...from what I understand.

Turning to your specific question, if the coins have highly attractive (or better) toning, it typically doesn't matter if PCGS or NGC grades the coins, it will bring $$$
Alternatively, for the typically, undesirably toned MS Franklins, even if one service grades higher than the other on a particular coin, the coin will be hard to sell, and sell at a discount (or even a significant discount), if you are lucky enough to find a buyer.
