Check out this 1886-S Trade Dollar!

This genuine coin was found stored in an airtight container. It was never cleaned or polished. I apologize for the mediocre photos, but from what you see, how would you grade it? I appreciate any opinions you can share. Thanks.

While you may not have cleaned it, it has absolutely been cleaned by someone before it came in to your possession. I believe this has already been stated by previous respondents which for some reason you refuse to believe.

I'm curious, deloway, how you are so certain the coin has never been polished or cleaned in any way?

Not in China it isn't............
Edited to say: The coin is an AU 58 from what I see of the scans...I can't see any wipe-lines just normal circulation abrasions. It also appears to have somewhat PL surfaces which would make cleaning lines jump off the coin.
In any case, the coin looks genuine.
