1793 liberty cap facing left........

I stopped in the local gas station to pickup my weekly handful of wheat cents (I trade the guy for matchbox cars). So I was showing him a peace dollar (he has never seen a peace dollar), well this guy was in line and he says "wow I haven't seen one of those for awhile" he then reaches in his shirt and pulls a 1793 liberty cap with a hole in it, dangling from a chain hanging around his neck! The thing that caught my eye was the facing left part it looked in probly vg-8 condition.I asked him where he got it he says "my son found it metal detecting in Concord" I asked him where, he said he didn't know......................just another coin story thought I would share.

That would be a pretty cool detector find !!!
Wonder if the hole was there when found, or drilled by "dad" ...

Assuming it's a US coin then facing left would most definitely be a half cent and a 1793 half cent as well.
