Opinion needed - 1915-D Barber Quarter

JJim sent me over here - neat site! I was metal detecting and dug this coin in a park at 8" in a civil war era park in Maine in 1997. I was finding V-nickels and Indian Head cents at about the same depth, this coin was a little deeper, all in good shape. This is the best, condition wise, coin that I've ever dug. I did not clean it, but doused it with fresh water and dabbed dry with a paper towel. I swear I didn't clean it. I've had numerous comments from other people that the coin was cleaned but I know that's impossible. Do you think that the constant freeze and thaw of the Maine ground could account for the rubbed look? It appears to have some toning to it. I'm contemplating sending it in for grading and would appreciate some feedback. Anyway, let me know what you think please, see below:

I see some parallel lines on the obverse, is that what you're talking about?
They look kinda fresh, like maybe it happened with dirt rubbing on it in the ground.

and have fun.....................
ps, do I get points for recuriting??????
Here's one I also found with a Metal Detector.....had to have been pretty fresh when it was dropped...
Still, that doesn't detract at all from one HECK of an MD find.
damnnnn!!!!!! impressive
My main concern is the diagonal "slide" marks across the cheek and into the fields in front of "the right field" of Liberty's Head. While the slide marks on the cheek can be from an album or "cabinet friction" they usually don't continue into the fields. The best opinion I can give you is the coin may not be graded because of this.
Of course it is hard to tell from a picture and overall the condition is nice enough it may be worth a try.
Once again a nice find though, and a coin in awesome shape for being 8" in the ground.
