I understand some people might be shocked by the $40,000 Koufax but we should keep in mind it's a PSA 9, so it's okay. image

    1961 PSA 8 Battey

Population is 80 for PSA 8 and 10 for PSA 9. Yes, that auction was for a PSA 8!

  • The Dodgers Sluggers PSA 9 looked gorgeous. I'm thinking it's got to be ahead of some of the other 9's out there.

I'll take 7 of those against the Koufax any day....

I think I'll keep it in my set. Hard to believe two bidders had bids or snipes that high on a $20 card.

It's crazy. They could probably pick up a 9 for under $100.

Wow, that Sluggers card is absolutely beautiful!

I had a 6 before because it had nice 'eye appeal'....which is code for....I couldn't afford anything in a better grade at the time! image

  • I agree that Sluggers card is a sharp card and i think sold for around smr 7500 the smr on Koufax is 6500 and the pops are abut the same. I just dont believe it a psa 10 mantle 1/1 sold for less than 37000 last year you just never know Jeff
