My local show......

has become a show for the dealers. It seems that over the years it
just went in that direction. I don't blame anyone, especially the organizer,
but that's my perception. I try to get close to a table and it seems that
some other person (another dealer) is looking through a box of things
and a lot of whispering is going on.
My take is this. If your show has gone that route, a route where it's mostly
dealers dealing with dealers, then don't advertise to the public. Don't
ask the public to come, don't invite them. Just have a dealer show. Cut
your cost, cut the table fees, serve beer instead of coffee, and have a
grand ole time swapping stories about uneducted collectors.
Thank you....
