So i had this hoard from the 70's when i put my ikes away for a future day. A couple of months ago i sent off 2 of them to Pcgs. They came back Ms-64. Just barely paid to grade. So I decided to send off 5 to Ngc seven weeks ago. Just got my results online and I am pleased. 3 came back Ms-64, and 2 came back Ms-65. These are all type 1 and 3 1972's..... I would rather have them in Pcgs holders, because there seems to be a quite a differential in the price with Pcgs vs Ngc. But money talks. The nice part is I got alot more where that came from. This is the first time I had used my grading skills like this. Guess I am qualified to grade Ikes.... maybe?

send all the raw ones that look gem to pcgs and try to cross those ngc ms65 to pcgs
Have you found any Type II Ikes in your hoard?
Those 72-P Ikes are never easy to make in MS65.....no matter what Type!
What Michael said......If you think they have a shot....try to cross them to PCGS.
I just crossed a few.....(the 66 didn't make it!)
