Was this a good deal?

This is my first auto memorbilia purchase. I bought this for my 2 boys as we went to our first Dodger game in May and have been fans since. $100 for a bat signed by Garciaparra,Ethier and Martin and 20+ others? Normal price or did I get lucky? Guy has good fb minus one recent neg that buyer is unable to get ahold of. I plan on paying via Paypal and crossing my fingers.

Also are those Steiner storage cases for single bats (appx. $75 ) my best/safest bet?

doesn't seem like a bad deal.

If you're happy with it, that's all that counts!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • Oh yeah Im estatic. I wanted some kind of 06 item for the boys as a memory item but this for $100 is way more than I hoped for. It just kinda scares me that something with that many sigs for $100? Hope its legit. It probally is and Im just being paranoid but as they say talking about it is the best therapy.

  • I have no knowledge of value for that bat. However I would say for $100 That is one nice display piece for a home or collection.

Sweet bat, and well worth the price if you're a Dodgers fan. I mean, how many tickets would you have to buy in order to collect all those sigs? Also, you've got at least two future HoFers on that bat (Maddux and Kent). The Maddux sig is kinda weird on a Dodgers item though, kinda like seeing a Willie Mays sig on a Mets item.

I wouldn't want it though. I mean, what self-respecting SF Giants fan would have a Dodgers team bat on display? image

Wow, it already has a Maddux auto on it ?!!!! That means it's fresh! I'd have to agree, $100 for that bat with that many auto's on it is a SWEET DEAL! You did well! As far as the Steiner storage case goes, I'm not sure... never owned one. $75 seems a little high (to me) for a bat case, but you have to store it in something. Most of what I've seen has been flemsy, so if the Steiner deal is nice and sturdy, it's got to be the right item.

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

  • IMO, A GREAT deal. 1 surefire first ballot HOF'er(Mad Dog), 2 could be's(Nomar and Kent), also Eithier has impressed me as a Rook and it looks like the Dodgers are getting into a groove. If I was purchasing it for 100, I'd be estatic!!!! I buy from eBay sellers that have incredible feedback for unauthenticated autos and so far I've been hitting the bulleyes(one seller has 5000+ positives and 100% positive feedback). It's much cheaper than a piece that has gone through and been authenticated but if it looks good, then why not? When you get it, show it off to us board guys.
