Home Metal Detecting

Some Capitol City park finds.

Got up this morning and headed to one of the parks in Columbus. Hit a few of the tot-lots there along with some vast stretches of grass.

Here is everything I found, the good and bad. There is about $2.00 in clad, but I found a 1944 Wheatie. Typical pulltabs and ringtabs, some shotgun and rimfire shells and eveyday junk.

There is a new deputy sheriff in town! image Found this buried beneath the woodchips at one of the tot-lots along with the neckerchief slide and buckle.

Thanks for looking!

  • Fun finds Sheriff! image

I like seeing the group shots (almost looks like a silver coin on the left side of your pile of clad ... or a clean clad dime?)

That's a nickel I found on top of the ground.
