1878 P Morgan. What's up with these denticles?

This is a third reverse Morgan. Broken R in trust, point of fourth right star broken off. Nothing else that jumps out at me but take a look at the denticles, obverse and reverse. The doubling may be machine-caused I can't tell. This covers about 70% of both rims. Not a lot of information in the literature about denticles. Ideas?

That looks kinda like a seated quarter I have and people here told me it was an off center strike and a wire rim.

On the bottom rim you can see it.

They do look similar, I guess perhaps this is strike doubling in that perhaps the collar moved between strikes one and two?

Looks like strike doubling to me. The doubling looks rather shelf-like, which is usually an indicator of strike doubling.
