Album questions

I have a question about albums. I have have used Dansco albums for many years (type set, Franklin halves etc) I just received a number of collections from a family member (pennies, nickles, kennedy halves) that are housed in "Official US Mint" albums produced by HE Harris which I beleive is the same company as Whitman. The albums are the same idea as Dansco, plastic slides etc. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with these albums and if the coins are fine there or if I should get them a new house in Dansco. Thanks.

Bumping this up. I'd like to know as well.
  • I know of no good reason to update your albums. Unless they are older, and missing pages to keep them up to date.

I changed my nickle and dime albums for this reason. And went with Dansco's so they would match the other albums I have.

The only other reason I can think of, is if you want to change to Intercept Shield type albums.

But then, I'm kinda dumb. An expert may give you more and better info.

I wouldn't see any reason to change, unless you want something that looks better....
