ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WHETHER or not eBAY GIVES A RAT'S PATOOT SECURITY,STOPPING SUCH ACTIVITY OR PROTECTING SELLERS?

On Day One that this guy registered he won 11 items, one of them mine. Obviously with a feedback rating of ZERO and the fact that he has ignored any and all messages from ME and all other sellers, failed to repond to any and all email and the registration # associated with this account being BOGUS, I immediately reported it eBay 6:00 AM Saturday Morning.

Ebay has done NOTHING to stop this person EVEN with full knowledge of it. 11 items were won by him on the FIRST DAY and eBay sat on their hands, didn't even send me the customary, patronizing "Thank You" letter from Safe Harbor.

I'd say what a Joke, but truth is, it's PITIFUL! No, actually it's WORSE than pitiful ... IT'S PATHETIC.

After several live help chats which naturally referred me to TRUST & SAFETY ( now THAT's FUNNY), I HAVE YET to hear from them BUT they DID PERMIT this loose cannon to continue bidding and to disrupt many more auctions.

GOOD OLE EBAY. Right!


Now THIS is what REALLY ticks me off.

Having reported this Saturday Morning @ 6:00 AM, after having had quite my fill of eBay doing NOTHING, I made sure to re-read Rules for Sellers because I didn't want to violate any rules.

After doing so I began using the CORRECT FEATURE, "Contact a Member" ( NOT THE ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION FEATURE ) to ask the other sellers OF COMPLETED AUCTIONS, if they had heard from this guy, had ANY form of communication with him at all.

After 5 messages (NOW REMEMBER, EBAY ENCOURAGES COMMUNICATION between members to ensure a safe environment) , TOTALLY within my rights and in no way violating any Rule or Regulation, I oddly am made to begin entering verification numbers to insure SAFETY.

After those first 5 attempts eBay STOPPED me from contacting any other sellers of completed listings and began monitoring my activity. At one point they literally tried to force me to sign out. Well, if you know me at all, THAT WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!

So, since they were watching ME instead of this "Person", I gave them a good look at my status, volumes of sales and how much money I spend selling on their site as a seller AND as a Buyer.

I then proceeded to the Chat Boards and let them see what I was reading and considering doing and they politely backed off. OK, so TODAY, thinking they might have done SOMETHING BY NOW, , I found that they HAD NOT yet allowed this Bozo to CONTINUE BIDDING.

Well, TONITE, I began answering messages from people that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with ANY of this and was politely told that I had exceed the MAXIMUM AMOUNT of messages sent! This was on THE VERY FIRST MESSAGE I TRIED TO RESPOND TO IN MY MESSAGES on MY EBAY PAGE.

EXCUSE ME, BUT BEING IN TOTAL COMPLIANCE AND WITHIN MY RIGHTS, SINCE WHEN IS THERE THIS SO CALLED LIMIT TO MESSAGES AN EBAYER CAN SEND OR RESPOND TO?

AS OF THIS MOMENT, I HAVE YET to receive ANY acknowledgment from TRUST & SAFETY, you know - the customary "Thank you for reporting this" email from Safe Harbor. TRULY, I am thoroughly disgusted with this. Instead of doing as I did and seeing what I have shown here which is obvious as a BULL IN A CHINA SHOP, they want to try to bully and STOP ME yet permit this Nut to continue to bid with no intention to pay!

His registration info is bogus as is the # associated with his account. Oh, he DID reply ONE TIME, earlier TODAY and told me that he was sorry for the confusion cause by him and gave me allegedly his Home phone # which I called and after announcing who I was, he immediately hung up on me.

Sadly, this speaks volumes about so-called eBay Trust & Safety AND the Almight Power Seller status and portal. (They are closed on weekends... how convenient). Ebay is more intent on stopping ME from doing what anyone with the least amount of common sense would do, namely communicate with fellow sellers of CONCLUDED AUCTIONS, to see what their experiences were like with this buyer, in no way breaking any rules AND AM TOLD I HAVE REACHED MY MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF MESSAGES when attemting to reply to a completely different message that had absolutely NOTHING to do with ANY of this! SINCE WHEN IS THERE THIS "LIMIT" WHEN WE CONSISTANTLY READ THAT EBAY ENCOURAGES COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MEMBERS ETC???

Friends, THIS IS RIDICULOUS and speaks for itself. If YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE they care about their sellers or their Almighty Power Sellers ...THINK AGAIN. Brother, is there going to be fur flying later today. Besides, I am tired of selling and having eBay and PayPal take what little profit, if any, I make.

There can be only ONE solution to this abomination. I SEE a Website in the cards for myself and the heck with eBay.
They've done NOTHING to stop this with full knowledge of it YESTERDAY and see more intent on stopping ME from protecting myself and other sellers OF COMPLETED AUCTIONS, yet allow this to go on. 'Nuff said ... FOR NOW!

FORTY EIGHT completed listings that HE WON yet NO ONE has heard a thing from him but me ... and Oh, BTW, he mentioned that he does NOT use PayPal, credit cards, money orders or even Personal Checks and that he intends to pay everyone with CASH thru the US Mail system. Oh, That's Brilliant!

I would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU to BLOCK this ebayer NOW as he is a menace and a threat to all eBay sellers. Just look at this Spree.

I have had that happen to me on several occasions...if you put something up for buy it now...the idiots would buy it Now without any intentions of paying for it...it angers you...this has been going on for years...and it happens on high priced items too...then they are allowed to leave negative feed backs also...ebay never refunded my fees either...then you have some sellers who like to pull good ones on the buyers...it is a two way street when it comes to dealing with ebay....There are Powersellers who will rip you off just like some buyers who do not intend to pay...Thanks to Eric who is no longer on the board....he was a good guy who liked to help in these cases and helped me get my money back.

I guess I'm at a loss. I see most of the auctions ending over the past 3-4 days. I know of a lot of people who were out of town during those days and a coin show called ANA. Also, maybe he was on vacation. Yeah, you couldn't get a hold of him. Maybe he wasn't home.

These auctions all ended between Friday and Sunday. And you are coming on here on Monday at 2:13AM and already complaining? What am I missing here?

eBay allows you to block the screen names of 1000 bidders, at first this sound like a phenomenal number. I suspect that after a few years on the board that could be easily met? I must have a few hundred now from my own experiences with the various Bozo's.
