more darkside impulse buys today.........

1855-A Austrian gold Ducat, probably XF or so condition; purchased for a very reasonable price, dirty gold is pretty cool looking!

I guess this will have to fill the Austria slot in my upcoming NGC Signature Set on world gold, that is until I can find the 1908 100 Corona 'Lady in the Clouds' in BU for under $2k

I also got this '86 proof Dutch Ducat. I have other Dutch gold coins, but i couldn't pass up a deal on a cameo gold modern issue for a reasonable (melt) price.

hope everyone had a great weekend!

There is a Lady in the Clouds available at Clark Smith. They sometimes have terrible pictures and may be able to describe it better for you.

yeah, i noticed that one from Clark. There is just something about that one though that i can't quite put my finger on. I'm not holding out for some MS67 example, but I'm trying to be picky. thanks though!

while we're on the topic; i just missed on on ebay that was NGC AU58; it had great lustre with a "rub" somewhere. It went for $1025. Darn it, I was travelling and forgot when the auction was ending; oh well!
