PCGS Luncheon Dinner Awards
A personal THANK YOU goes out to BJ Searls and Ron Guth for an excellent Luncheon
at the ANA show in Denver on Friday. David (Homerun) Hall wasn't in attendance but Ron
did an excellent job of filling in for him. Had many in attendance and a very fine buffet style
lunch with excellent food. A special honor was bestowed upon Donald Kagen as he was
inducted in the PCGS Hall of Fame. Congratulations Donald as he left as others also left
before the lucheon was finished. Didn't get to congratulate him or Stewart but hopefully
they are enjoying their awards. I'm truly glad that I did attend as at the half way point in
the question and answer session they drew for the door prize (a PCGS wooden storage box),
and my name was drawn. I feel that if they'd all stayed someone else may have been drawn.
So was very grateful that I did stay for the QA session. Because many had already left my
son was also ready to leave and did to go find mom up on the bourse having lunch. He didn't
get to see Dad win the door prize as well.
Oh well others loss my gain! Here is a photo
of Me and Vincent at home adding the coins to the present, and a few of the picks I obtained
at the bourse on Thursday. Mike.

This 38-D has awesome greens that don't show on the Photo!

This coin is much nicer than the photo shows as all three of these are in
plastic cointainers.

This is one of my slab puchases an MS-65 BN NGC gorgeous Blue Toner.
Mike.

Someday REAL American HERO's will be on coins.

show's he likes. We had a wonderful trip to Denver. Other than the Wateworld Foot
blistering we had much fun. He and Mom took a trip up into the Mountains to do some
shopping on Thursday as I spent the whole day on the bourse doing my shopping. He
got to do the Video coming back through the mountains and the Eisnehower Tunnel
as it was the first veiwing of the Mountains for both of them. I've had many of a trip
through that area so didn't want to go up there. He did a pretty good job on his Video.
I hope that some day he can do as good with still pictures as I have learned to do. I
got my experience at a Newspaper about 15 years ago as a local Photographer. Really
enjoyed that job until the owner SOLD the paper and let all his employees go.
Thanks for the good compliment for Vincent.
Mike.
