2006 Topps FB Rack packs

I was just at the store buying the steak for dinner and saw these. What caught my eye was the 3 vintage (60's,70's or 80's) cards in a rack.

Well after opening them I noticed that there are only 18 cards in this thing. My god what a rip off. Plus I only got 17 cards. The three vintage were all 80's crap. 1980 Billy Brooks, about 1:99 L/R; 1981 mark Murphy, about 5:95 R/L but also titled; and a lovely 1986 Bucs Team card, tilted with print smears.

Do yourselves a favor and learn from my lesson. I am glad I only bout one.

  • Here's a note...

HEY TOPPS....if you're going to put vintage product into your new issues...CALL ME...atleast I can sell you nm-mt cards instead of the junk you're putting in now!!!

Better than last years though....I opened 5 racks....got the same 3 "vintage" beaters in each rack. Bad enough getting junk cards..but 3 of the same..cummon..

QUALITY control A #1 for Topps Co.

    Not.....

I can empathize. I made the mistake of buying a couple of those, too. Waste o' cash.
  • Last year in the Topps football racks the vintage cards I received were 1990 Topps Shawn Collins, Eugene Robinson, Myron Guyton, and Ron Hall. I also received 2 1988 Topps cards, Chuck Long and Jeff Smith. After finding vintage gems of that caliber in the rack packs I rushed out and didn't buy anymore.
