Spent a couple of hours around the perimeter of a demolition site- their tearing down a family run grocery store that opened in the 1950's and 3 adjacent houses. I just hit the area between front of houses and sidewalks today- as well as foot traffic for store it is on a parade route than annually draws lots of spectators with lawn chairs to sit curb side (parade itself has been going on for over 40 years). Anyways enough background, they only have the store taken down and one house, I assume they will finsih off and do the grading this week, so maybe next weekends find might be more exciting. Anyways here's what I got: 1 clad quarter, 3 clad dimes and 14 lincoln memorials- oldest being a 62-D, no wheats . As well 3 canadian pennies- 1964, 1983 and 1992. Also found the key buried and the 2004 penny laying on top of ground just off steps of one house.

<< <i>What exactly IS clad? I always hear it but I've never asked what it was. >>
Clad is post 1964 coins. They have a copper core with a cu-ni outer layer.
