Ok, What are these, and should I buy them?

The guy's only asking $50, so not too expensive. Can anyone tell me more about them, or what they're worth? Thanks!

Edited to add: There's 33 cards in total, these are just some of them.

1968 Topps Game set, 33 cards, issued as inserts in the packs and as a boxed set (rarer). $50 is too high for cards in that condition--they aren't rare, you can find complete sets on eBay each week.

Cool set though with lots of great pics!
  • So I should skip this one?

Yes. I would pass if I were you. As they are they aren't worth more than maybe $20 max for the lot.

Definately skip those. I sold a solid nm/mt set 6 months ago for less than $40. Like others said they arent rare and you can find a much better deal.

  • Will SGC or PSA grade these? If so, what will a graded set.. Say EX-NM run me?

PSA will grade them. I dont think you would have trouble assembling a PSA 7 set for much more than $200. Singles can be had for $5, and even the Mantle can be picked up in PSA 7 for roughly $25-30.

You can find commons in PSA 8 for $5 to $10, and stars in PSA 8 for $10 or so (and $5 in PSA 7). I would look at this set in PSA 8 or above.

If you're buying raw, get a back scan. This set is notorious for having discolored backs.

Oh, and that Robinson shouldn't be a straight 8. It's way off center L/R.

  • Are one of these cards errors? The owner of the cards decided to send me the cards on approval, so I can look them over, and find out all I can about them.

That's too high for that lot. I see creases on some cards. You can pick up the whole set in NM7 for that price. I picked up a Mantle, Mays and AAron in NM condition for $15 at a show.
